JOAN JOLLY CITIZENSHIP AWARD

Joan Burnett Jolly was connected with Sir John Adamson throughout her life.   She was a learner at the old Sir John in Turffontein and came back after some time to serve as School Secretary for seven years.  She was a hard-working member of the Parents' Association was eventually appointed to the Governing Body of the School.  After her death in December 1965, the Citizenship prize was renamed the Joan Jolly Citizenship Award in her memory.
