2027 Grade 1 & Grade 8 Online Admissions
Dear Parents/Guardians,
If you would like your child to attend Sir John Adamson High School in 2027, please follow the steps below to complete your online application through the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE).
Applications open: Wednesday, 5 August 2026
Applications close: Friday, 4 September 2026
What you need to do:
Visit www.gdeadmissions.gov.za.
Register a parent profile (if you are a new user) or log in using your existing account.
Complete your child’s application.
Upload all the required supporting documents.
Submit your application before the closing date.
Save or print your application confirmation for your records.
Supporting documents may include:
Parent/guardian ID or passport
Child’s birth certificate or passport
Proof of home address
Clinic card/immunisation record (Grade 1)
Latest school report (where applicable)
Important: Apply as early as possible to avoid last-minute technical issues. Late applications may affect your child’s placement.
